Jennifer Mathers McHenry is an associate at Teplitsky, Colson and is a member of Mr. Colson’s litigation practice group. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005. She obtained her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2003, and her LL.M. from the University of Toronto in 2005.

Ms. Mathers McHenry’s practice encompasses a wide range of complex commercial, employment and appellate litigation. She has experience acting on a wide variety of complex disputes, including actions involving: breach of contract, professional negligence, enforcement of foreign judgments, letters rogatory/letters of request, breach of confidential information, intentional interference with economic relations, negligent misrepresentation, commercial leases, securities, tax, administrative law, judicial review, and public law.

Ms. Mathers McHenry also regularly advises both employees and employers about policies and procedures, human rights obligations, termination of employment, offers of employment, and constructive dismissals.

Ms. Mathers McHenry has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court and at the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has participated in matters before the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Additionally, she has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution forums including pre-trials and mediations.

Ms. Mathers McHenry joined Teplitsky, Colson in 2008, prior to which she practised with a leading litigation boutique.
